Boutique Kicks Off the Holiday Shopping Season with a Chance to Contribute to Good Causes

Proceeds from two-day boutique will benefit charities including Family Promise and Project Linus as season of giving gets underway.

It will soon be time to deck the halls, and it’s not too soon to start crossing off names on your Christmas list —while at the same time helping two charities that offer hope and healing for many in our community during this season of giving.

Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church will host a two-day holiday boutique called “Our Hands, Your Home” at 2500 East 3900 South in Holladay.  The one-stop shopping event includes local vendors/artisans, and handmade items including candles, jewelry, specialty bird houses, wreaths, holiday decor, cards, baked specialty goods, fair trade coffee, quilts, scarves, wooden trains, Christmas stocking stuffers, fine art, wood carvings, and a number of giveaways. A number of gently used children’s items will also be for sale.

The boutique will take place on Friday, Nov. 6 from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring your friends, family and neighbors! Feeling hopeful for peaceful and meaningful holidays this year? Stop by for a holiday blessing in our sanctuary while you’re in the neighborhood for a spiritual start to the season.

All proceeds benefit Family Promise, a local non-profit that helps homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence, as well as Project Linus, an organization that makes blankets for critically ill children.
