The County Library is hosting its annual Summer Reading Challenge Kick Off Party with the theme of “Build a Better World” on Friday, June 2 from 6-9 p.m. at the Library’s Viridian Event Center and Veterans Memorial Park in West Jordan.
Bring the whole family to the Kick Off Party for live entertainers, a mascot appearance, policemen and firefighters, music, activities for kids and adults, food trucks, and more. The City of West Jordan will screen “Moana” at dusk (starting between 8:45-9 pm) in the park, so bring your blankets and a picnic for a full evening of entertainment.
This event is free and heralds the start of the County Library’s 2017 Summer Reading Challenge, in which anyone can participate by picking up a reading record at the party or any location of the County Library.
