Utah Olympic Park celebrates all things summer with two dates for the much anticipated Slip ‘n Soar event to be held at the Spence Eccles Olympic Freestyle Pool. Slip ‘n Soar dates include Saturday, June 25 and August 20. Tickets for both event dates are now on sale.

Participants slide down the ramps and launch into an one million gallon pool below in true slip and slide fashion, no skis necessary. Slip n’ Soar will feature three water slide ramps—the “mini ramp”, a beginner level slide for the more timid, and two “single ramps,” a more advanced slide for the adventurous set. The ramps will be specially outfitted with a synthetic material perfect for sliding with speed and style.

In addition to the slip and slide ramps, guests will have unlimited access to the Psicobloc competition climbing wall, along with a host of summer games such as cornhole and table tennis. The event will feature live music, outdoor barbeque, cold beverages, and other refreshments.

Entry is $50 per person and open to ages 13 and older. Guests can also choose a Slip ‘n Soar and Gold Pass bundle for $90 per person, a savings of 20% off. The Utah Olympic Park Gold Pass features unlimited day use of the UOP adventure activities.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at UtahOlympicLegacy.org or on-site at Utah Olympic Park. Participants must be 13 years of age or older and be able to swim. Doors open at 11 am. Guests should plan to bring a swim suit, sunscreen, and towel. Slip n’ Soar is a family-friendly event.

Utah Olympic Park’s activities including Summer Comet Bobsled, two zip lines, three ropes courses, Alpine Slide, Drop Tower, and scenic chairlift rides are offered daily beginning Memorial Day weekend. Visit UtahOlympicLegacy.org to for more details.
