Salt Lake’s Natural History Museum of Utah is truly a priceless treasure for the community. However, there are a few days each year where you don’t have to pay a fortune to get in. In fact, the admission is entirely free thanks funding through the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks fund. Monday, January 8, is one of those days!

There is a catch however. You have to reserve your tickets and visit time in advance on the NHMU website. Go to nhmu.utah.edu/free-day to reserve yours!

Museum admission is normally $14.95 for adults and $9.95 for children ages 3-12. You’ll save a bundle if you act soon!

While you’re at the Museum, you can enjoy Phun with Physics from 3:30-4:30. What do balloons, bicycle wheels, liquid nitrogen, flowers and a vacuum pump have in common? Phun with Physics scientists Patrick Wiggins, Tori Spratling, and Jayceen Craven from the University of Utah’s Department of Physics & Astronomy will help you find out.
