Dancers from The Children’s Ballet Theatre & Wasatch Youth Ballet Company will be performing in the 16th annual production of ‘Molly Mouse’s Sugar Plum Debut.’ Over 150 mice will twitter and twirl across the stage at the Children’s Performing Arts Centre as the audience watches Molly Mouse and friends prepare for the Merryville Ballet Company’s upcoming production of ‘The Nutcracker.’

This is the perfect way to introduce children and their families to the wonderful world of ballet. Colorful costumes, whimsical scenery and Tchaikovsky’s beautiful musical score make this mouse-size performance a holiday treat for all ages.

The show is choreographed by directors Julie Orlob and Stacey Orlob-Richins in collaboration with former principal dancers of the New York City Ballet, Bart Cook and Maria Calegari.

The Children’s Ballet Theatre was established in 1969 under the direction of Julie Orlob. Molly Mouse is an annual Christmas production since 2000. In addition, each Spring CBT produces a full length classical ballet choreographed especially for children.
