Plan B to perform world premier of RIVER.SWAMP.CAVE.MOUNTAIN. by Elaine Jarvik
Each year, Plan B Theatre Company tours local elementary schools with a kid-focused theatre production. RIVER.SWAMP.CAVE.MOUNTAIN. will reach 15,000 K-3 students at 40 schools in 7 counties as their fifth annual Free Elementary School Tour.
Plan B has expanded on the school tours and this year will be performing free shows in local libraries and an inexpensive show ($3-5) as part of Repertory Dance Theatre’s Ring Around the Rose on October 14. Free public performances at the Anderson-Foothill, Chapman, Glendale, Main, Marmalade and Sweet branches of the Salt Lake City Library will take place October 19-November 18.
RIVER.SWAMP.CAVE.MOUNTAIN. is the story of five-year-old JJ (who has lots of questions) and eight-year-old Izzy (a know-it-all who doesn’t know it all), who are siblings that have recently lost their grandmother. They embark on a funny and touching hero’s journey to try to make sense of loss, grief, death and life.
