Fangirls and Fanboys Unite at County Library’s 7th-Annual Teen Anime Convention

For the seventh consecutive year, the County Library is giving fangirls and fanboys a chance to geek out at ToshoCON, a two-day conference for all things anime.

ToshoCON offers a variety of hands-on crafts and activities, as well as tips and tricks for creating cosplay-related costumes, art and videos. Popular anime and manga products, sold by teens and other vendors, will be available for purchase on both days.

This free convention gives teens and tweens the opportunity to demonstrate their creative talent and compete in cosplay, art and anime music video (AMV) contests. Teens and tweens will also have the opportunity to teach their peers by participating in teen-led panel discussions.
