Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum Helps Young Children Celebrate International Women’s Day

Salt Lake City Utah-Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum will celebrate International Women’s Day on Friday March 6th from 2-6pm.

Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum will celebrate International Women’s Day on Friday March 6th from 2-6pm. The museum will offer special activities to teach children and families about women’s achievements both past and present, as well as the importance of equal rights for women.Activities include making and collecting trading cards of inspirational females, Susan B. Anthony and Alice Merrill Horne reenactors will be at the museum from 2-3pm telling stories, taking pictures and talking about the Suffragettes, learning about female scientists and creating a Zine. All are welcome to enjoy this day of empowering everyone to work together!
