Natural History Museum of Utah Is Hiring Curious Teens

To enrich the Museum experience, the Natural History Museum of Utah is hiring Teen Explainers. Teen Explainers engage Museum guests with fun, hands-on activities that promote creative science learning. To spark excitement and curiosity among guests, the Museum needs candidates who are also passionate about science and are between the ages of 14 and 18.

If hired, Teen Explainers will complete a 16-hour apprenticeship and then become official members of the NHMU staff. They’ll work approximately 15 hours a month in a role that will strengthen communication skills, increase confidence, and make a difference in the community—all while working alongside like-minded peers in an awesome Museum.

If you know a potential candidate who is excited by science and shows great maturity, they can apply online here. Applications must be submitted before 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 23.
