The deadline to nominate a caring nurse for the Utah Honors for Nursing is fast approaching. The deadline is Friday, April 17, 2015. The Honors for Nursing celebration follows on Tuesday, May 12.

Honors for Nursing celebrates and honors Utah’s nurses. This one-of-a-kind event pays tribute to the nursing profession while also uniquely raising funds to support scholarships for current and future nursing students. Honors for Nursing brings nurses together from around the state of Utah to celebrate one another’s accomplishments. It’s an annual event held each spring during National Nurses Week and is hosted by the University of Utah College of Nursing Alumni Association.

Proceeds from the evening go to a scholarship fund for nursing students at the University of Utah’s College of Nursing. In this way, Honors for Nursing uniquely supports present and future nurses in Utah.
