Junior League of Salt Lake City event helps to fund community projects.
The Junior League of Salt Lake City (JLSLC) invites families with children of all ages and adults alike to climb aboard a variety of vehicles at the 8th annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, October 28, 2017.
“Once again we are happy to host Touch-A-Truck to give children an opportunity to not only see these magnificent machines, but to actually climb aboard and experience the excitement of being behind the wheel,” said Junior League of Salt Lake City President Callaway Mckay.
Among the vehicles on display at this year’s event will be a cherry picker where guests can safely ride high in the sky. Life Flight will also be letting your youngsters sit in the cockpit of their life saving helicopter. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy a cake walk, face painting, trick or treating, Lloyd’s BBQ Food Truck and more!
The event will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Valley Fair Mall. There will also be a quiet hour, from 10-11 a.m. where children sensitive to noise will be able to enjoy the vehicles on display.
Admission to Touch-A-Truck is $5 per person or $20 per family. All proceeds will support the JLSLC and its community projects.
Valley Fair Mall is located at 3601 S. 2700 West in West Valley City.
