Subaru Loves Pets FREE Microchip Clinic Is This Saturday

0

It’s National Pet ID Week April 17-23 and Lost Dog Awareness Day April 23, an opportune time for the Wasatch Front Subaru Retailers to partner with the Humane Society of Utah and offer Subaru Loves Pets FREE Microchip Clinics. Banfield Pet Hospital® veterinarians and veterinary technicians will implant Avid Microchips in 200 pets at each of the five Subaru retailers along the Wasatch Front. A total 1,000 pets will receive a free microchip in one day. One microchip per family allowed for dogs and cats only. Pre-registration is full, but 50 free microchip certificates will be handed out at 9 a.m. on a first come, first served basis at each location to redeem at the Humane Society of Utah Clinic on a future date.

WHY: One in three pets will go missing at some point in their lives. The Avid Microchip is an implantable medical device, about the size of a grain of rice (12mm), which safely and permanently identifies your pet. When a pet goes missing, a microchip is the best way to identify them since collars and tags can come off.

WHEN: Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

WHERE: Local Subaru Dealerships:
Young Subaru at 3920 Riverdale Road, South Ogden
Nate Wade Subaru at 1207 South Main, Salt Lake City
Mark Miller Subaru Midtown at 3535 South State Street, SLC
Mark Miller Subaru South Towne at 10920 South State Street, Sandy
Doug Smith Subaru at 501 West Main, American Fork
